BlackMike Model model builds

This is an Eduard 1/48 scale P-51D Mustang kit made from an Overtree box to use up some of the spare decals from the ProfiPack Edition (see Big Beautiful Doll build blog). I did use the Brassin propeller and drop tanks from Eduard as I made a mess of the kit parts, it happens! Painted using Mr Hobby Aqueous acrylics for the colours and AK Interactive Xtreme Metal for the NMF parts. Duncan Black

This is my rendition of the Eduard 1/48 scale Focke Wulf Fw190D-9 kit. I used the Weekend Edition kit No.84100 which was ideal for this project as I was going to use aftermarket markings anyway. The kit was built out of the box however I did add a set of HGW fabric seatbelts. The majority of the markings were painted on using a Montex masking set although Eagle Editions did make a decal set that includes this option if you don't fancy painting.
