This is my HobbyBoss 1/48 scale Messerschmitt Me-262B-1a/U1 Nightfighter built to represent Red 12 after the end of hostilities and under new ownership. The kit is simple enough to build with some care needed to get the gun covers on the nose closed properly (they appear to be designed to be left open to show off the nose guns).
Decals and markings were a combination of from the spares box, home printed masks for the '12' (thanks Paul) and from an Xtradecal sheet.
Paints were Mr Hobby and Mr Color as usual with a base of Mr Finishing Surfacer 1500 Black.
